Polylactic acid
Polylactic acid, also known as polylactide (polylactide), belongs to the polyester family. Polylactic acid as the main raw material is a polymer obtained by polymerizing, renewable sources of raw materials and can be fully, mainly corn, cassava and other raw materials. Polylactic acid production process without pollution, and biodegradable products, to achieve the cycle in nature, and therefore is an ideal green polymer materials.

Good thermal stability of polylactic acid, processing temperature 170 ~ 230 ºC, good solvent resistance, can be used for processing a variety of ways, such as extrusion, spinning, biaxially stretched, injection blow molding. Products made of polylactic acid biodegradable in addition to outside, biocompatibility, gloss, transparency, heat resistance and feel good, but also has a certain resistance to bacterial resistance, flame resistance and UV resistance, and therefore uses very widely used as packaging materials, fibers and non-woven fabrics, etc., it is mainly used for clothing (underwear, outerwear), industry (construction, agriculture, forestry, paper), and health and other fields.
